Ahoy there! We are Sam and Rev!

When we started The Loop we were overwhelmed with information. A lot of it was confusing and some was just misleading. So at some point, we said, "let's leave and learn as we go." We decided to film each trip along the way and keep track of our victories as well as our mistakes. Sometimes, What Yacht To Do became What Not To Do!

We shared our fortunes and misfortunes. As we traveled, many encouraged and followed us. Since we started, we responded to thousands of comments, messages, emails and Live Chat questions.

Now we have put together a program to help YOU plan YOUR LOOP in a safe and organized manner!

Although leaving your home and starting the loop can be overwhelming, we have developed a four-phase process that organizes information and allows YOU to plan YOUR Loop, YOUR Way! Take the next steps at your pace!

1. The Journey

Understand the Journey. First, It is important to have a solid understanding of the 6,000 mile route to include limitations, requirements, and restrictions so you can develop your unique plan.

2. The Boat

Consider the Boat. Once you have a plan for Your Loop, start thinking about a boat, or if you already have one, consider the compatibility with Your Loop. Analyze your boat with our C4© model to help you decide.

3. The Crew

Ready the Crew. Whether you have considerable experience or are brand new to boating, the loop presents unique challenges. You will build a plan on how best to prepare as a crew so you can tackle the many different types of circumstances along the way.
GOAL: Build Your Crew’s Confidence and Safety Skills.

4. Living Aboard

Living Aboard. Your boat is your home while on the loop. Dealing with limited space, unique systems, appliances, and the mechanics of a boat requires patience. Another part is managing what you left behind: house, cars, mail, prescriptions, family, and friends.
GOAL: Manage Your Life On and Off the Boat.
